Beautiful! Crazy low mileage, huh?
![]() 02/01/2014 at 18:47 |

Yep. Probably 1/4 of why I bought it. And thanks for the compliments!

Beautiful Z32, you lucky bastard!
That has been on my list for a long time... but the first thing I would do is wrap the roof cross-pieces in front and behind the t-tops with black gloss vinyl. Never quite understood why Nissan thought it would look good in body color.

Definatly in front will happen. It will look so much more modern smooth across. Great suggestion!

Thanks, kinja...
Don't worry though, it shows normally un-expanded.

Oh, a mechanical, analog odometer! How cute... and that's a fine car!

I can totally get why on that one. You are now forced to get a good video of it driving to post here.:)

I would do both the front, and the back, and maybe the jams inside the t-top openings, too.
And maybe the side view mirror shells while I was at it.
If you ever need a different front bumper arrangement... the 99 JDM upgrade is the best way to go.
For a while I was looking for a blue one of these... even non-turbo, but I would require a manual gearbox. That is the only fun in driving in the midwest, shifting one's own gears.
I know the turbos are sought after, but they are also a lot more complex, which is more points of failure and either hard-driving abuse, dubious modification quality, or rot due to lack of use on a low-mile car.
And the speed limit is still only 55-75 anyway...
A non-turbo wouldn't be a horrible choice if one isn't into track use or other stuff.
I kind of feel the same way about Mark III Supras... Turbos are great and all, but an atmospheric 7M-GE, or a 2JZ-GE would be fine. At least it has 6 cylinders.
I'd take a naturally aspirated rotary RX-7, but I think I would prefer a turbo on a fire-breathing rotary, just because a rotary responds so well to them.

Kinja sucks again. And the point is, whatever car you have fun is is what you should get.

Such a good looking car. I especially love the rear fascias on these. And they sound good! Much better than any VQ-equipped car.

I just realized that I forgot to take a picture of the back. Crap.

It's a 91 TT.
As she sits now while I'm waiting for some parts.
Painted the intake manifold, valve covers and throttle bodys.
Why she's sitting

Whoooo, that's one nasty cylinder! Are they really as hard to work on as everyone says?
![]() 02/03/2014 at 10:17 |
|
Work space is very tight, that's the biggest problem.
There are some overly complicated systems on there that make some things a major pain to do, like removing the intake manifold if you haven't done the water bypass yet.
I'm not the greatest mechanic in te world, but so far I've been able to do everything by myself.
